ÉLEVAGE: 30% 3 months in amphora, 70 % 6 months in inox
Pure Macabeo predominanlty from old vines planted by Francesc's grandfather in the Coster de les Bruixes vineyard (The Witch's Coast), and located at just 12 kilomètres from the sea. A salty breeze blows through the vineyard and the vines are planted in goblet, with tall and majestic branches reaching towards the sky. A portion of the Macabeu comes from a neighboring vineyard, l'Alzina, protected by the forest with denser clay soils.
Dry, salty and filled with quintessential Mediterranean wild herbs, the balance between the fruit, acidity and texture are what makes this wine so unique. Ripe yellow citrus fruit, white pear, rosemary and fennel evoke an incredible sense of place.
