AGE OF VINES: 80+ years
SOIL: Black schist
VINIFICATION: 10 days carbonic maceration
ÉLEVAGE: 7 months in demi-muid

Chime R is a parcel of old vines, co-planted on a 300 meters high schist slope facing North. It is divided into terraces in order to ease the steep pitch and enable work in the vines. The incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and glimpses of the ocean make it a majestic parcel. There is very little top soil and extremely low yields, giving it a more complex profile. Chime R is slightly more rustic than Yoyo's 3 other crus in Banyuls. It presents wild notes of garrigue, dark stone fruit and soft tannins.
