Chime R is a parcel fo old vines, co-planted on steep schiste north-facing slope at 300 meters altitude. The slope is divided into terraces in order to ease the steep pitch and enable work in the vines. There is very little top soil and extremely low yields. A majestic parcel, the views of the surrounding vineyards and glimpses of the ocean are incredible. Chime R is the slightly more rustic of Yoyo's four Banyuls crus, with wild notes of garrigue and dark stone fruit, and soft tannins.
